Round Robin

What's a RR ?
It's a group of stitchers who decide to get together and stitch.

What's their aim ?

They stitch and share as many samplers as there are members in the group. Everybody stitches on each others samplers .

How does a RR take place ?

When you decide to join a RR, you choose, according to the specifications of the leader, your theme (ABCD, flowers, houses, animals, unicolor, ...) and prepare and mark up limits for each stitcher (one place for each one).

for example :

During the 1st month (if a month is the period choosen), each one will stitch on his own sampler .

At the end of the month, each sampler is sent around the group for each person to work a segment in the appropriate theme of each sampler .

This goes on through the months until, at the end of the RR, you end up with your own sampler back again.

An example:
We suppose there are 9 persons in the group.
We suppose each one has a serial number.
We suppose you are 3rd.
You have selected, for you, the theme "Red geometrical designs"

1. On your blank canvas	====>	2. You stitch the design you choose, at the place you choose
3. You mail your sampler to the following stitcher of the RR (4 th) . In the same time, " 4th" mails her(his) sampler to the following stitcher (5th) . Then "4th" stitches another design on your canvas (which she received in the meantime) at the place (s)he chooses .	====>	4. Meantime you've received from "2nd" her(his) sampler, you select a design according to her(his)theme, you stitch and mail to the following stitcher (4 th) who is stitching on your sampler that she'll mail to the following (5th) . Then "4th" stitches another design on 2nd's sampler at the place (s)he chooses .

5. Bit by bit, your sampler arrives at 9th, then 1st, then 2nd . It looks like:

6. At the end, the stitcher before you ("2nd") mails you your sampler. The 9 parts of your canvas must be filled . Now you can appreciate the result ...
