To lead the RR

What are the Leader's responsibilities ?

AT THE BEGINNING

The future Leader posts a message on the Forum.

Then the Leader :

(before RR begins )

• writes a short biography about herself (or himself) and asks others stitchers do to the same (via e-mail)
• notifies that the RR is "full" when there are enough stitchers in the group
• prepares a list of names, addresses to circulate
• endeavours to organize the rotation of circulation, according to the different locations of the stitchers (especially if very long distances separate the different stitchers)
• produces a stitching schedule (thinking of holidays and all special events)
• asks the group to send their themes and segment sizes (in stitches)
• publishes all these data by e-mail
• sends the list of the snail-mail addresses by e-mail to each stitcher before the first mailing date

(during the RR)

• supervises the sampler's mailings : asks everyone to send - monthly - their sampler status, including when they mailed their last sampler and when they received the current one.
• answers the mail.
• endeavours to resolve all problems. Especially, if somebody pulls out of the group, tries to find a replacement as soon as possible .

In fact, it isn't necessary to know cross-stitch to become a good leader of RR
a husband can do it !!!'

If you agree to lead a RR, you have post on a Forum:

• the title you choose for the RR
• your name
• the specifications you decide for the RR (type of canvas, periodicity, ...)

As soon as possible, you will receive e-mail of others stitchers.
